About this role
micro1 is looking for an experienced ICU Nurse to support AI training and evaluation efforts focused on ICU nursing knowledge. The role provides direct nursing care to critically ill patients in an ICU setting, monitors vital signs and adjusts treatments based on patient condition, responds to medical emergencies, administers medications and treatments as prescribed, collaborates with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans, ensures the proper functioning of ICU equipment and technology, documents patient progress and outcomes in electronic medical records, educates patients and families on treatment plans and post-ICU care, and adheres to infection-control and safety protocols. The work is described as evaluating and improving AI models in the medical domain, with a focus on clinical accuracy, safety, and the real-world applicability of nursing knowledge.
What we are looking for
- Current RN license in one US state
- 2 years of acute-care experience, with ICU experience required
- proficiency in electronic medical records
- strong clinical judgment and ability to work in high-pressure situations
- excellent communication and teamwork skills

- commitment to patient safety and quality care
- Preferred: Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
- experience with advanced ICU technologies and treatments
